Operations Intern of the High School All-America Game. A native of Humboldt,
Tenn., “Home of the West Tennessee Strawberry Festival”,
he came to Lilburn by way of University of Memphis where he earned his
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Sports Management. |

Tanya Brown Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Tanya Brown, a graduate from the University of Windsor has never doubted in her mind that she would one day embark on a career path in sports. Her work experiences come from a wide array of specialties, with most recently in the area of promotions, game operations and event logistics. Amongst her significant previous positions, she has served as a Youth Assistant Leader with the Malvern Recreation Center, in which she provided guidance, support and motivation to teenagers and kids in an effort to keep them off the streets. Tanya holds a Bachelor of Arts Honors in Sociology with aspiration to further develop her expertise within this industry in an area that combines sports and community relations. |

was just the person for the challenge! An Atlanta native, Fallon felt
right at home at the WBCA. |

Zena Lewis Zena Lewis, a graduate of Florida A&M University, joined the WBCA after working for three years in the Sports Information department at Clark Atlanta University. Zena's main responsibilities as the WBCA's Communication and Awards Intern included writing for Coaching Women's Basketball magazine, writing press releases, overseeing the USA Today ESPN Top 25 Division II Coaches' Poll and assisting with the travel arrangements for all WBCA awards winners to attend the WBCA National Convention. Prior to working at Clark Atlanta, Zena worked as a teacher and coach in the Atlanta Public Schools. Zena hopes to pursue a career in the Sports Information field. |

Supriya Limaye Supriya, a native of Palatine, Illinois, graduated from Indiana University in 2005 with a degree in Sports Marketing & Management. She most recently served as a Grants Intern with the Women’s Sports Foundation’s GoGirlGo! Chicago community program. While there, Supriya was responsible for assisting with the coordination and activation of Leadership Institutes and Technical Assistance Training Sessions for grantees and new applicants. Prior to her stint in Chicago, Supriya was a volunteer Director of Basketball Operations for the Indiana State University Women’s Basketball program. She was responsible for organizing a first-of-its-kind women’s basketball fan festival, developing a women’s basketball booster club, assisting with marketing and promotional activities, and was responsible for the team’s film exchange program. Supriya was also a four-year manager for the Indiana Women’s Basketball program before arriving at Indiana State. Outside of the office, Supriya enjoys being active in the community.
She has volunteered her time to help clean out and repair flood damaged
homes in New Orleans, Louisiana and has also assisted with the daily
care and maintenance of lions, tigers, leopards, cougars, and other large
cats at the Exotic Feline Rescue Center in Center Point, Indiana. |

Daniella Trujillo Daniella is originally from Phoenix, AZ. One thing is for sure, she is no stranger to moving. In addition to Arizona, she also had the opportunity to live in Mississippi, California, New Jersey and Atlanta, Georgia, where she currently resides. Prior to coming to the WBCA, she worked as the project manager for the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk. Some of her duties included recruiting students and faculty to participate, obtain sponsorships, and raise money among other duties. She also worked as a Wellness Assistant where she conducted fitness assessments, designed educational displays, and served as a member of the search committee for a Peer Educator Coordinator. In addition to being CPR and First Aid Certified, Daniella placed second in a Professional Sales Competition as a part of a class project her junior year. As the WBCA National Convention Logistics Intern, she was able to experience more than she ever thought possible. Daniella used the opportunity to meet people, go places, and gain knowledge that will pay off as she pursues a career in the sports industry. Daniella attended Kennesaw State University, where she graduated in May 2007. She will obtain a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sport Management with a concentration in Marketing. |

Shlita Young Flint, Michigan, is not only the birthplace of Shlita Young, but also the birthplace of her passion for basketball. Ever since elementary school Shlita knew that she would have a career in the basketball industry. Shlita made her second round to Atlanta, Georgia, as the Special Projects Intern, where she was responsible for every aspect of the Nike’s So You Want To Be A Coach Program. These responsibilities included designing program advertisements, coordinating speakers’ transportation, on-site logistics, maintaining a budget, and numerous other tasks. Prior to working for the WBCA, Shlita made her first trip to Atlanta in 2003 to attend college. She is a 2005 Georgia State University graduate, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. Shlita is in the process of furthering her education towards a Masters degree in Sports Administration. Her previous sports experience includes working for the Atlanta Braves
in Team Promotions, and the Atlanta Hawks in Leisure Services. Shlita
is also a registered basketball official for the Michigan High School
Athletic Association (MHSAA).
