Stephanie Glance, former N.C. State interim head women’s basketball coach and Vice President of the Fund, will take the reins of the Board of Directors as Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund President, after Marsha Sharp, former President, recently accepted the Executive Director position.

Also joining the Executive Committee is Jill Pizzotti, Nike Manager of Women’s College Basketball, who will begin her term as Secretary.  Pizzotti takes over for Connie Rogers-Newcome, Adhesives Research, Inc. Executive Account Manager, who has accepted the Vice President position.

Rounding out the Board of Directors is Susan Yow, Belmont Abbey College Head Women’s Basketball Coach and sister of the late Kay Yow.  She replaces Bill Cowher, CBS Sports Football Anchor, who recently finished out his term.

“I am thrilled to add both Jill and Susan to the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund Board of Directors,” said Glance.  “We all possess such immense passion for the fight against women’s cancers and upholding Coach Yow’s legacy.  I could not ask for a better team to assist in the Fund’s continued growth and look forward to what the next year has in store.”

The members of the Executive Committee include: Glance (President); Rogers-Newcome (Vice President); Pizzotti (Secretary); and Beth Bass, Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Chief Executive Officer (Treasurer).
