American Idol Finalist Ayla Brown performing at the WBCA Night of All-Stars
ATLANTA, Ga. -The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced today that American Idol finalist, Ayla Brown, will be singing the National Anthem at the WBCA Night of All-Stars on Saturday, April 1, at Northeastern University's Matthews Arena.

Ayla Brown scrolled the big screens earlier this year in her outstanding performances on American Idol. Not only has this talented young lady proven her singing abilities, but she is also an exceptional student-athlete and has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball at Boston College under head coach Cathy Inglese.

Ayla will be available for media interviews following her performance at the WBCA Night of All-Stars.

The WBCA Night of All-Stars is a double-header event, featuring the WBCA High School All-America Game presented by Nike and the WBCA All-Star Challenge. The games are scheduled for Saturday, April 1 at Matthews Arena on Northeastern University's campus in Boston, Mass. The WBCA High School All-America Game presented by Nike is scheduled to tip-off during the "WBCA Night of All-Stars" doubleheader event at 4:30 p.m. (ET) followed by the WBCA All-Star Challenge.

The WBCA High School All-America Game displays the nation's top 20 girls' basketball players at the high school level. The WBCA All-Star Challenge showcases 20 of the top senior collegiate players in the nation who are not playing in the NCAA® Women's Final Four®. This highly-anticipated event is part of the 25th Annual WBCA National Convention, which takes place at the site of the NCAA Women's Final Four.
