ATLANTA, Ga. -- The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and Eastman Kodak Company today announced the 2004 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Kodak/WBCA All-America Basketball Team. Selection committee members in each of the eight WBCA geographical regions select the ten women's basketball players to be honored. The members of the 2004 NAIA Kodak/WBCA All-America Basketball Team are as follows:
"Kodak is proud to partner with the WBCA in honoring the best women's collegiate players as Kodak/WBCA All-Americans," said Bud Denker, Director & VP of Brand & Market Development at Kodak. "Kodak recognizes the accomplishments of young athletes and the positive recognition they bring to their school by displaying their talents on the basketball floor." Founded in 1981, the WBCA promotes women's basketball by unifying coaches at all levels to develop a reputable identity for the sport and to foster and promote the development of the game as an amateur sport for women and girls.
