| Georgetown College's Johnson Earns WBCA's Charles T. Stoner Law Scholarship Award | |

Lilburn, GA (March 12, 2003) -- The Womens Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) has selected Andi Johnson of Georgetown College as the winner of the Charles T. Stoner Law Scholarship Award. The $1,000 Charles T. Stoner Award, named for and presented by Stoner, a former legal consultant for the WBCA, is presented annually to one female collegiate basketball player who intends to pursue a career in law. "Andi has had an outstanding career at Georgetown College both on and off the court," said WBCA Chief Executive Officer Beth Bass. "On behalf of the WBCA, I want to congratulate her on receiving this most prestigious award and wish her the best in future endeavors." Johnson, a 510 forward from Scottsville, Ky., has had a stellar career at Georgetown College, where she is a two-time All-Mid-South Conference performer and was named NAIA Division I Second Team All-American in 2002. She has led the team to two Mid-South Conference Championships and to the Elite Eight of the NAIA National Tournament in 2001. Johnson, a political science major, has twice been named a Mid-South Conference Scholar-Athlete and has earned a 3.72 GPA in her major. Johnson will be honored, and formally introduced to the WBCA coaches and convention registrants at the Jostens-Berenson Awards Luncheon, Saturday, April 5, at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at the Georgia World Congress Center. The Jostens-Berenson Awards Luncheon is one of many award functions taking place at the 2003 WBCA National Convention, held in Atlanta, Georgia in conjunction with the NCAA Division I Womens Final Four. Founded in 1981, the Womens Basketball Coaches Association promotes womens
basketball by unifying coaches at all levels to develop a reputable identity
for the sport and to foster and promote the development of the game in all of
