WBCA Partners with AthleticLink.com
ATLANTA (February 10, 2003) -- The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) is pleased to announce its partnership with AthleticLink.com. Beginning February 17, 2003, WBCA members will be able to access AthleticLink.com services directly at www.wbca.org.

AthleticLink.com will provide online services to WBCA members and all those interested in pursuing a professional career in women’s basketball. Services include: job announcements, resume posting, competition date scheduling, athletic camp postings, clinics and seminar schedules and consultants and speaker listings.

“AthleticLink.com is an excellent resource that offers a wealth of professional services for the multi-dimensional athletic community. The user-friendly website is a great research tool for practitioners in the sports arena to post and view sports specific information,” said Beth Bass, WBCA CEO. “I am confident that our membership will find this site to be very beneficial in helping them to manage their daily work load. AlthleticLink.com encompasses every operation and sporting event imaginable and assists those individuals who participate in, host and manage them. Individuals with an interest in any athletic/sporting related area; from attending a camp to managing a ticket office will be able to "link" to the available opportunities that match their interests and talents.

Founded in 1981, the mission of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) is to promote women's basketball by unifying coaches at all levels to develop a reputable identity for the sport of women's basketball and to foster and promote the development of the game in all of its aspects as an amateur sport for women and girls.
