How does a good coach become a great coach? The answer is a desire to constantly learn the best ways to teach and motivate their athletes. The WBCA knows that there is no substitute for peer-to-peer learning, so that's why educational sessions at the National Convention bring the top coaches on stage to share their techniques and winning tips. Attend roundtables, panel discussions and on-court clinics to get the knowledge you need to take your team to the next level.
The WBCA's Awards program recognizes the top coaches and players in our sport. Membership is required to nominate and vote for the over 20 awards, including the State Farm/WBCA Players of the Year (all levels), the RUSSELL ATHLETIC/WBCA National Coaches of the Year (all levels), the Spalding Maggie Dixon Division I Rookie Coach of the Year, and the WBCA Coaches' All-American Teams (all collegiate levels).
