WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Rolls

Definition
Since 1996, the WBCA has recognized outstanding academic performance through its Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll. The top teams in each of the five collegiate divisions (NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA and JC/CC) are recognized through this award.

Eligibility
All collegiate WBCA head coaches are eligible to nominate their team for this award. Nomination forms are available online starting in May.

Nomination
All student-athletes who were on the athletic association official varsity roster list as of the start of second semester must be listed on the nomination form.

Criteria
• Include players' first and last name who were on the official roster at the start of the second semester
• 1st semester hours attempted and GPA
• 2nd semester hours attempted and GPA
• Same format applies if using the quarter system
• Grades must be converted on a 4.0 grade point scale. Quarter and semester hours can be accepted 

WBCA Academic Top 25 FAQ's

Selection
The top 25 institutions at each collegiate level will be recognized in a press release in early summer. Team grade point averages are determined by the total number of quality points divided by the total number of hours attempted by the team.
