NCAA Division I Initial-Eligibility Resource Index< BACK
The NCAA's outreach and education efforts related to initial-eligibility requirements are in full swing. These efforts focus on Division I requirements for prospective student-athletes enrolling on or after Aug. 1, 2016. The Initial-Eligibility Resource Index is a new e-resource tool that describes all of the NCAA Eligibility Center's materials and presentations. It makes searching for the materials convenient, because all of the listed materials and presentations have links included, to provide easy access. The WBCA office believes that this document will be extremely valuable to our members as you assist students and parents with the initial eligibility, recruiting and the college selection processes. Please refer to www.eligibilitycenter.org, or the NCAA's new outreach site, www.2point3.org for more information.
Also, in an effort to continue to spread the word about this important new information, the NCAA has re-launched the NCAA's Initial Eligibility course available through NFHSLearn.com. The course has been updated with the new 2016 academic requirements and sliding scale information, and continues to be offered to you free of charge! Please visit NFHSLearn.com and take 40 minutes to complete the Initial Eligibility course. This course will familiarize you and your colleagues with the new academic requirements, as well as information about the NCAA Eligibility Center registration and certification process for college-bound student-athletes.
