The WBCA Administrator of the Year Award

Definition
The WBCA Administrator of the Year Award is awarded annually to an administrator, athletic director, associate or assistant athletic director, or senior woman administrator who has promoted women's basketball in a positive manner through clinics, speaking engagements, books, articles, research and/or special promotions at the local, regional and/or national levels, and who has served as a professional role-model for student athletes.

Eligibility
Candidates must be an administrator, athletic director, associate or assistant athletic director, or senior woman administrator to be eligible for nomination. Candidates do not need to be a member of the WBCA in order to be eligible for this award.

Nomination
All active A and B WBCA members are eligible to nominate any individual who fits the above criteria. Nomination forms are made available to all eligible members via the WBCA web site (WBCA.org) in January. A postcard is mailed no later than December to direct our membership to the website for the nomination forms. All nomination forms must be received by the deadline in February. Nominations must be submitted electronically through the WBCA's website.

Selection
The WBCA Board of Directors will review the candidates and vote on their top three choices. The person with the most votes will be selected as the WBCA Administrator of the Year.

Presentation
The WBCA Administrator of the Year Award is presented annually at the WBCA Awards Luncheon during the WBCA National Convention.
