Tip Tucker Kendall was named the Director of Membership, Exhibition and Convention Services in January 2009. Her responsibilities include managing the association's membership recruitment and retention efforts as well as overseeing convention registration and exhibit sales.
Tucker Kendall comes to the WBCA after eight years in nonprofit management in Lexington, Ky., including four years as the Membership Services Coordinator at the American Association of Equine Practitioners. Additionally, she worked within the association management division of Host Communications as the Manager of Membership for the National Tour Association. In both positions she focused on membership and prospect outreach, data management and collection, new program development and communications.
Tucker Kendall has served on the Membership Section Council and Young Professionals Committee of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). She is a co-author of 199 Ideas: Membership Recruitment and Retention and has been a speaker at ASAE's Membership and Marketing Conference.
