Stephanie Baron Dollar was announced as WBCA Director of Events in May 2005. Baron came to the WBCA through the Betty F. Jaynes Internship program in December of 2000. Upon successful completion of her internship, Baron joined the WBCA staff as the Manager of Events. She is responsible for coordinating and managing all operations and logistics for the WBCA National Convention and other WBCA events.

Prior to the WBCA, Baron worked at Marianapolis Preparatory School in Thompson, Conn., as the Dean of Admissions, Assistant Athletic Director, and girls' basketball coach. During her time at Marianapolis, Baron recruited and selected academically qualified freshmen and transfer students, developed an enrollment strategy that ensured continued growth of the school's local and international reputation, attained record enrollment for the 2000-2001 academic year and was actively involved in the annual alumni and fundraising events.

Baron began coaching girls' basketball at Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School in Charlton, Mass. She was also an assistant boys' basketball coach for the Amateur Athletic Union.

Originally from Webster, Mass., Baron graduated from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn., with a degree in marketing and concentration in women's studies. While attending Fairfield, Baron studied in London, England, and worked with both the men's and women's basketball programs. Baron graduated from Mercer University in Atlanta, Ga., in 2007 with a Master's degree in Business Administration.
