Britz is also responsible for creating legislative materials to include in all WBCA publications.

Prior to joining the WBCA, Britz was the Associate Executive Director for Sports Management and Governance/Senior Woman Administrator for the Patriot League. During her tenure with the Patriot League, Britz was responsible for overseeing the internal League governance process, to include supervising the work of 23 sports committees, providing leadership for coaches' and administrative meetings and developing sport-specific legislation and schedules. Britz was also charged with managing the NCAA legislative process for the League and served on the Division I Legislative Council, the National Letter of Intent Advisory Committee and the NCAA Green Team.

Britz began her career as the Assistant Commissioner for Compliance and Business Operations/SWA at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. In addition to coordinating NCAA and RMAC compliance on behalf of 14 institutions, she also handled the internal fiscal operations and managed the conference officiating program.
