1. When are the internships posted?
Late August

2. When can I apply?
Resumes are accepted only AFTER the positions are posted.

3. How do I apply?

Instructions are provided when the positions are posted. Applicants will need to send a resume, cover letter three references and an original writing sample on one topic designated by the WBCA. If applying for the communications position, please include two press releases or journalistic writing samples.

4. May I apply for all the internships?
You must indicate a preference for which internship you are applying. Applications without a stated preference will be given the least amount of consideration.

5. Does the WBCA offer summer internships?

No.

6. Is the internship paid?
Yes, the internships will be paid a $1200 monthly stipend.

7. How long is the internship?
Typically, internships begin in December or January, which is specified during the interview process. All internships are completed in mid-May.

8. Where is the WBCA office located?

The WBCA office is located in Lilburn, Ga., which is 30 minutes northeast of Atlanta.

9. Is this a full-time position?
The positions are part-time through December. Beginning in January, all interns are required to work Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Three Saturdays are required.

10. Does the WBCA secure housing?
No, this is the responsibility of the individual; however, the WBCA will assist.

11. Does the WBCA compensate for moving expenses?

No.
