Association Updates

WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Rolls presented by AT&T. Nominations are being accepted until 5 p.m. ET June 24.

Elections. Elections for select positions on the Board of Directors will take place May 26 through June 10. Visit wbca.org to vote.

Bylaws. A proposed comprehensive revision to the WBCA Bylaws and an explanation of the changes are posted on wbca.org until the end of the month. The membership will vote on the proposed bylaw revision from June 1-10.

Coaches Inc. New affinity partnership with Coaches Inc. provides members with access to free legal advice.

Career Center. Visit the WBCA Career Center to find open coaching positions.

Member information. Please remember to inform the WBCA if you transition to a different institution so your information can be updated in our system.

Games Needed. NCAA DII & DIII, NAIA and junior/community college programs in need of games for the 2015-16 season can send the information to for posting on wbca.org. Please contact Libby when games have been filled so that she can remove them from the listing.

Online Library. Members have access to recordings of 2015 WBCA Convention sessions, including all 10 on-court presentations, via wbca.org. Create an account on the PROLibraries platform to view content. If you attended the convention in Tampa, use the WBCA15 code to redeem your free access to the 2015 content.

Rules Proposals. The NCAA Women’s Basketball Rules Committee has adopted its recommended rules changes. The Playing Rules Oversight Panel must approve the changes in order for them to go into effect.

DI-DII Recruiting Calendar. The NCAA has released the recruiting calendar for Division I and Division II.
